Vishwamitra DMCC welcome a delegation from the Kingdom of Swaziland, which recently upon achieving its 50th Independence Jubilee changed its name to The Kingdom of Eswatini.
In attendance was the Chief Executive of SIPA (Swaziland Investment Promotion Authority) and representatives of the RSTP (Royal Science and Technology Park), National Agriculture Board and Aviation ministries.
The meeting was held at Vishwamitra offices in DMCC and touched on a variety of topics; Artemis Life Sciences foray into the Swazi market with the recent launch of the moringa plantation, and subsequent processing unit which will capsule and package the nutritional supplement in the form of moringa powder.
The delegation also was interested to know what other kinds of investments Swaziland stood to benefit from, and shared aspects of the infrastructure development plan that would enable some of these new investments to be feasible.
Also in attendance was Mr. Martin Mellons of McKinsey, who gave strategic guidance on the kind of agro-processing and value add that Swaziland could benefit from in the short term, with respect to the treaties and duty waivers that are already in place for export to the EU and the USA.
