Kas Medics has taken over sole distribution of Human Diagnostics since Jan 2018. Discussions of taking over Human started back in Feb 2017 at Arab Health – Dubai.
In Nov 2017 Human agreed to give Kas the sole distributorship in Tanzania. Due diligence and other preliminary procedures were completed by Dec 2017 and a signed agreement was put in place in Jan 2018.
Prior to its takeover, up to 80% of Human’s market image was tarnished due to unreliable services from the previous distributor. As such Kas has taken the initiative of visiting all customers countrywide to understand their challenges and reassure them of the services that Kas is ready to execute.
We are proud that through this initiative almost all customers agreed to switch back to Human. Kas has trained two Engineers on the Haematology line, with a second scheduled for the first week of May on the Clinical Chemistry line. Customers have already placed their orders, most have been delivered and few are on the queue.
Human has also been very supportive to ensure our customers gain the trust again. We are thankful for the Vishwamitra office in Dubai for supporting us with the first orders – to “kick-start”.
