Artemis Agri eSwatini
is proud to announce that the successful audit of 370 hectares of farmlands
has been completed with flying colours! The Artemis Agri team has been
preparing for the EcoCert auditors to visit from South Africa for the past 3
months to certify our existing and future farmlands. In addition to the 370
hectares of farmlands being audited the team also began the process to audit
the 600 square meter production facility, that will process all the high-value
crops for export. This is great progress as it marks the start of Artemis Agri
being able to attain a fully certified GMP facility accreditation, in the not
so distant future.
From this exercise
Artemis Agri will attain the EcoCert Organic Standard (EOS) awarded by EcoCert
France and EcoCert Japan, giving us the rights to sell our product as organic
throughout Europe and Asia. In addition, Artemis Agri will also attain the
National Organic Program (NOP) Standard awarded by EcoCert France, allowing us
to sell our product as organic in the United States of America. We would like
to add that the EcoCert audit team from South Africa mentioned that Artemis
Agri is the first company in eSwatini to ever be certified Organic by the
EcoCert awarding bodies of France and Japan, and that they were truly impressed
with our professionalism. A big thank you to the Artemis Agri team in eSwatini
for achieving this important milestone.
