Nigeria (UTP) has undergone a major system upgrade at all its branches in Nigeria.
Resources 4 Africa CTO Vinay Gokaldas, the Entersoft team from Dubai and Vista
International IT Head Abhilash Pillai oversaw the phased implementation of the
new Point of Sale system across 7 branches in two weeks.
The Entersoft rollout represents part of the digital transformation mission
across Vista Group to bring more business intelligence to the forefront. The
new POS is easier to use, has much higher flexibility and is an integrated
accounting package, which will reduce the workload on back-office whilst
allowing the business to identify areas and products ripe for further pursuing.
Souvik Chatterjee, the business head of Office Everything in Nigeria was a
major contributor to this transformation, having recognized the limitations of
the previous system. “We needed a more integrated solution especially with
our e-commerce platform, officeeverything.com.ng which
receives lots of hits every day online.” Office Everything staff at all
branches were highly supportive of the rollout, and it is expected that the
system will go live on August 1, 2019.
Office Everything wants to expand its offering to include a franchise model in
Nigeria. With Entersoft rollout the system is now fully enabled to support this
initiative.
