Nigeria team’s shared lunch ritual

At our Nigeria Corporate Headquarters, wellness and connection take a simple, heartwarming form — shared lunches. Every afternoon, team members unpack their colorful woven baskets filled with home-cooked food, gathering around one table to eat together. What could have been just another lunch break has become a small but meaningful tradition that everyone looks forward to.
There’s an easy rhythm to it, someone passing a bowl of jollof rice, another sharing biryani or dal, and someone else insisting you try a bit of their egusi soup or Kerala curry. The mix of Nigerian and Indian dishes fills the room with rich aromas and laughter, turning the space into something that feels like home.

It’s not only about food. These shared meals have become moments to pause, talk, and reconnect: to check in with one another beyond work. In a world that moves fast, this simple daily ritual reminds everyone that wellness isn’t just about eating well–it’s about belonging, balance, and being part of a community.
