
Academic City hosted its 1st Stakeholder Roundtable on 1st June 2018, constituting key opinion-leaders from public and private sectors, to socialize Academic City’s vision and solicit valuable insights.
Key members of the government sector attended, including Hon. Dr. Adutwum, Deputy Education Minister (who addressed the audience), Dr. Samuel Frimpong, Technical Economic Advisor to Office of the Ghana V.P., Dr. Angela Mensah, Ghana Education Services Director, as well as Muniratu Issifu, Country Head, Varkey Foundation and representatives from UNICEF, US Embassy, UNESCO, World Bank, MESTI, etc.
Industry’s prolific influencers such as Carl Manlan, COO Ecobank Foundation, John Awuah, CEO UMB Bank, George Sarpong, Director Corporate Affairs Kosmos Energy, and Andy Mensah, HR Partner IBM Ghana, also attended and shared valuable insights.

vision, while Academic City’s President, Dr. Fred McBagonluri dove deeper
into Academic City’s ethos and goals, along with a special feature on
Academic City’s first Presidential Scholar students. Additionally, Dr. Prem Shamdasani, NUS EMBA Program Director, conducted a deep dive workshop on building sustainable market leadership.
