16 years back when I joined Vista Group in 2001, infrastructure in Mozambique was in lot of scope of improvement. I gathered strength by visualizing the hardship; the veterans of the group would have undergone when they ventured into Africa much earlier. We overcame most of the Business Challenges and became successful by building a very strong and cohesive team pooling in each one’s strength and helping each other. I am proud to have experienced venturing into a new territory in 2012, the youngest country of the world South Sudan. Today there are new and different challenges ironically one of them is better infrastructure which has fuelled increased competition!! Fresh young blood is being pumped into the group new leadership should develop. We have a very strong senior team some of them are senior to me in the company I salute them. The current team should draw strength from them, venture out to face new challenges and take the company to new heights.
