When Vista International launched its first VISTA pens in 2020, the range had four models. Six years on, the division has grown into the second-largest ballpoint pen manufacturer in Nigeria, with eleven pen identities under the VISTA master brand and a stated ambition to become the country’s number one.
The company’s roots are in the stationery business, and the VISTA range has been built for a broad market: students, professionals, businesses and everyday consumers. Rather than producing a single generic pen, Vista International has developed a portfolio in which each model has its own personality, because everyone writes differently, while all carry the recognition and trust attached to the Vista name. The current line-up is:
MAXX | DOLLAR | TITAN | PRIDE | AURA | XO | TRX3 | TRIO | CANDY | TRENDY | SOLO
Across the range, the emphasis is on writing performance, comfort and durability. Depending on the model, that means smooth ink flow, fine and clear writing, a comfortable grip, a durable tip, quick-drying ink and a lightweight design built for reliable everyday use, from the classroom to the corporate office.
The next phase for the division is diversification: extending beyond ballpoints into a wider writing-instrument portfolio as it works towards the top spot in the Nigerian market.
Behind the business plan is a simple idea that VISTA has built its presence around. A pen captures ideas, records knowledge and turns thoughts into action, and every idea needs a beginning. VISTA aims to be where that beginning takes shape on paper.
