1. Can you briefly describe your role at the company?
I work as an Assistant Accountant. My responsibilities include creating purchase orders, preparing cash flow reports, processing invoices and payments, assisting with month-end and year-end closing activities, and supporting the finance team with accounting and administrative tasks to keep our financial operations accurate and efficient.
2. What do you enjoy most about your job?
Being part of a supportive team, learning new skills, and having the opportunity to grow professionally. I also enjoy working in a positive environment where I can contribute and keep improving.
3. What has been your proudest moment or achievement here?
I don’t think I’ve had a major achievement yet, but I’m proud of how much I’ve learned since joining. Every day has been a chance to gain new knowledge and grow, personally and professionally. What I value most is the supportive environment–I truly feel like I’ve gained a second family at work.
4. What’s the most challenging part of your role?
Learning new things and handling different tasks. It can be challenging at times, but it helps me build my knowledge, skills, and confidence.
Beyond the Desk
1. Tell us something interesting about yourself outside of work .
I enjoy playing and watching football and cricket, and I like going to the gym to stay fit and active. These activities help me relax and stay healthy.
2. What’s one thing your colleagues might be surprised to know about you?
That I’m very competitive when it comes to sports.
3. Do you have a favorite book, movie, TV show?
Friends is my favourite show. I like its humour and how the stories feel realistic. I also enjoy the Spider-Man movies.
4. What keeps you motivated at work?
Seeing my mom’s hard work and sacrifices for our family. Watching her work hard for us inspires me to do my best, keep improving, and build a better future.
5. What’s the best piece of advice you’ve ever received?
Only give what you can afford to lose–asking for it back can affect relationships and even your self-respect.
6. Any tips for maintaining a healthy work-life balance?
Eat healthy, stay active, and don’t be afraid to enjoy a cheat meal sometimes. Make time for the things you enjoy.
