It brings me great pleasure to address the Vista Family in this first edition of 2018.
Over the last 21 years with the Group, my experience has shifted from taking care of Vista Ghana to setting up colleges to heading Eureka Africa. In 1999, a fortuitous opportunity presented itself before me to play a pivotal role towards the group’s diversification into Higher Education. With a clear vision of providing quality education, we made humble beginnings the very same year with a chain of high-end NIIT Computer Schools in Ghana. Our position as a Leading provider of technology-enabled Higher Education was further strengthened by way of signing MOUs with Sunderland University, The Open University UK and Manipal Group among others to offer UG/PG programmes that attracted more than 5,000 students from nearly 20 nationalities in the many years that followed. The Eureka Africa Family today, has affiliations with leading universities and runs duly-accredited BlueCrest University Colleges in Ghana, Liberia and Sierra Leone. Since inception, we have trained over 100,000 students and professionals, a rare milestone for others to emulate.
Our latest investment in STEAM-focused Academic City campus is all geared to give a holistic learning experience with its innovative curricula, focus on entrepreneurship, experiential learning and above all, a world-class infrastructure in the heart of Accra, which further reinforces our commitment to the African continent.
I have no doubt that the group with its ethical leadership and highly energetic team, will continue to grow by leaps and bounds in years to come. I wish you a great 2018.
