A team of SFD students became the cynosure of all eyes after they won
the second prize at the Inter Fashion School competition, held as a part of the
annual Wear Ghana Festival 2019 on March 30 at the National Theatre in Accra.
Nicole Sonia, Anna Adomma and Nathalie Gake represented BlueCrest School
of Fashion and Design at the coveted event. The prize distribution ceremony
took place a day after the fashion show. SFD was one of six participating fashion
schools at the show.
This event was organised by the National Commission
on Culture, in conjunction with GTP Fashions and National Theatre of Ghana, to
promote the indigenous textile industry.
In Ghana, the month of March is celebrated all
across the country as “Wear Ghana Month”.
