Conference was a successful tour for Kas Medics, Tanzania. Mr Nishitha attended
the event at Amsterdam, Netherland from 24 to 27 July 2018. The main motive was
to meet the representative of Sedia and
also try and
find some additional
principals if possible and
during this visit
we could manage
to do the same successfully.
Mr. Nishitha met with
one more additional
principal, Arkray Japan, with whom
discussion was pending
from long time. The company deals into small point of
care products and have good range of laboratory products as well.

As per
recent changes happening in
regime and diagnostic
technologies concerns of
implementing partners and donors
also keep on changing time to time.
Recently SEDIA has
developed tests, by which doctors will be able to find when the person was
affected by the disease, in case, if same is less than 6 months, and same is
supported by PEPFAR.
Center of Disease
Control is supporting this tests in many African countries and it’s great that
we reached to SEDIA on time to get the distributorship for countries wherein we
have our operations.
Mr Nishitha met
with Ronald Mink who is Chief Scientific Officer and President of Sedia and he
has been instrumental developing such many tests in
past like Oral diagnostics etc.
In principal he
has agreed to
cooperate with us for Tanzania
and for other countries as well
in near future.

We initiated the discussion sometime back
around 3- 4 years back, since they have machine which can substitute Roche
machine, which is about to withdraw from market, can give some good revenue and
have many other models and solutions too.
They are very positive & Mr Nishitha
is preparing a business plan for the same to take it forward to expand it in
pan Africa.
