Academic City is making a foray into premium quality tertiary education in West Africa by setting up a state-of-the-art campus in Accra, Ghana. This new campus will facilitate premium calibre of teaching talent with high quality campus infrastructure, including amphitheater-style lecture halls, student-engaging classroom designs, high-tech equipment, a modern-design engineering workshop and a Technology and Entrepreneurship Centre.
Leveraging its new campus, Academic City plans to offer holistic education to create well-rounded minds who can proactively and conscientiously contribute to local and global development. Our dedicated focus on experiential and active student learning, supplemented with an emphasis on soft-skill training and ethical decision-making, targets preparing our students to compete with globally-trained talent. Also, our ethos of innovation and entrepreneurship would imbibe in our students a drive to be initiators of ideas and thought leaders.
With a mission to educate future-ready leaders who can innovatively solve complex problems within an ethical, entrepreneurial and collaborative environment, Academic City plans to launch this leading-edge campus in fall 2018, with engineering, technology, business and arts programs.
